The new proprietors have terrible communication regarding rules and regulations. The landlord is pleasant, but a recent renovation was terribly botched, leaving us having to evacuate our stuff early with no assistance or warning, contrary to what we were informed we would receive. In addition, our temporary apartment had black mold in the fridge and freezer, and it was discovered that multiple other apartments had black mold in certain areas, which likely wasn't dealt with properly considering the head of construction was taking on anyone to get the job done faster regardless of their experience. Furthermore, the new owners are suddenly making decisions that don't make sense with no explanation. For example, we live in an upstairs apartment and have had an air conditioner in the back for two summers, having been told it would be too garish up front. Today, I was told we would need a medical reason to keep it and be written up if we don't remove it, with no advance notice that the rules had changed. My aunt, who has resided here for many years, was told she would be written up because her child's patio toys were spilling off the patio, though the reason is because the construction staff (hired by the new owners) never put up a new railing last summer. This place needs better communication; until then, it is the last place I would suggest anyone give money to and live.more ...hide ...
