When my husband passed away, I too moved in, but now my mom is in a nursing home and misses her time here and the friends she made. If she were still here, her 13th anniversary would be coming up. It's like family here, and the staff is amazing, always taking care of us and caring for the residents. During the Covid lockdowns, they had to enforce safety guidelines, making it more difficult for them. Tamara, in particular, was determined to find ways for us to safely interact with each other and she organized a variety of art, craft, and excursion activities that many of us took part in. She also started a newspaper, a book club and a writing group with another resident. Her bubbly personality makes it easy for her to bring people together and so if you want to watch a movie in the Great Room or start an activity, you can always talk to Tamara. I highly recommend The Carillon for your home.more ...hide ...
