The apartment complex manager is awful they dont fix anything and its not the adults they complain about its the kids

DO NOT MOVE HERE They change management like every 3 months when I moved out they never posted any of my money orders to my account and they blamed me for damage that was already there prior to me moving in When I came to dispute everything they said DO NOT MOVE HERE They change management like every 3 months when I moved out they never posted any of my money orders to my account and they blamed me for damage that was already there prior to me moving in When I came to dispute everything they said it would be taken care of and a month later my account was sent to collections even though I came back with proof of everything because I kept my receipts The lady even saw that they didnt post any of my payments they just took the money order and yet its a year later and Im still having problems with them I called the people who owns the property and still no answer or call back If you move here just look forward to having to get a lawyer more ... hide ...

My spouse and I live here with our 2 pets a cat and a dog The complex allows up to 2 pets and they welcome large breed and even bullybreed dogsnnThe complex accepts Section 8 and the office staff is welcoming polite friendly and supportivennMaintenan My spouse and I live here with our 2 pets a cat and a dog The complex allows up to 2 pets and they welcome large breed and even bullybreed dogsnnThe complex accepts Section 8 and the office staff is welcoming polite friendly and supportivennMaintenance staff works hard to keep the grounds clean and are helpful toward tenants in need of their services They respond to work orders promptly and professionallynnThe neighborhood is relatively quiet the loudest it gets is when children play outside in the summer We had a few problems with kids throwing balls at the walls but I dont think any windows etc were broken The only other problem Ive experienced is that though the complex is dogfriendly kids without pets are often very disrespectful to animals One child screams and runs anytime my dog is outdoors and others will mock him when they walk pastnnWe have a salt water pool though it quickly crowds in the summer No lifeguard on duty but the pool is open only when the office is open If anything truly serious were to happen staff would know and be able to call emergency personnelnnIf I could change one thing about the property it would be to add a small fencedin dog park behind the office Pets need a place to run safely under supervision One dog keeps getting out of the house and runs nonstop until she tires enough to be caught This only happens at night and one of her owners has a bad leg He enlists the assistance of others and their dogs to try to attract and catch hernnAll in all an awesome place to livennEDITED 100717nnI still like the complex and enjoy living here However a few things have changed since the review aboven GEM Management has taken over the complexn Former regular maintenance guys no longer work here but the new guy seems really nice and loves animals This is something I very much appreciaten The grounds went about 3 weeks without maintenance or lawn care during the change over to GEM New maintenance worker spent 5 HOURS on his first day just cleaning the yardsn Kids have grown blatantly disrespectful to literally every adult on the property Theres little management can do about it but neither is compliance with community rules actively enforcednnA few incidentsn1 Kids threw rocks at my spouse and my dog a Jack Russell Mix Dog is a companion dog was under complete control and ignoring the kidsn2 Neighbor showed up at our door asking for money owed him We never borrowed any money from him So he lowkey threatened my spouse Cops were calledn3 Another neighbor went off his meds This ended in his jabbing me in the back shoulder leaving a painful bruise there were witnesses cops calledn4 Recently found a bed bug in the laundry room Management wanted to have Orkin check our home for them Then they forgot all about it until the following week WERE CLEAN thank goodnessn5 Teens threw a basketball directly at our door then immediately scattered My spouse slit the balln6 Kids litter everywhere I saw one throw food at a smaller child Hed have left the food in the street had I and another adult not caught him and told them to pick it upn7 Kids Teens RARELY respond when addressed even politely gently I havent any kids of my own so I get it Im a stranger and I respect that But speak up Youre in front of my home yelling obscenities at and fighting or chasing each other throwing balls at my door and rocks at my dog The least you could do is grant us the opportunity to better understand one another And that wont happen if you dont respondnnDear GEM Pleasen install security camerasn enforce community rules listed in leasesn install a designated safe zone for teens weve playgrounds but itd be nice if a basketball goal were here Places where kids play are potentially dangerous Pipes rocks glass on the ground Youre not liable Until it isnt cleaned up more ... hide ...
