We toured every daycare facility in Grand Forks as well as the East side before closing this one. This is the only place Id want my kids. This is the only place Id want my kids. Its come a long way in the past two years thanks to a forward thinking director who didnt succumb to the typical Grand Forks mentality. Kids have a larger, better maintained outdoor play area than most. Kids have a large indoor play area for the long miserable winter. Facility is old but in decent repair, comparable to others. Kids have large rooms and small class size.Staffing is hit and miss...Half are the absolute best, most fun and friendly folks around who really enjoy working with these crazy kids. The other half is made up of your typical Grand Forks crowd... doesnt acknowledge your presence, looks like they might not own a mirror, and has no idea of anything occurring outside their own bubble. But thats all you see at other facilities. United Day truly has some amazing employees that rise above.more ...hide ...
