I lived at Lakewood Apartments in Norfolk Nebraska for a year and five months. It seemed like a very nice apartment complex to live at for my family and I. It seemed like a very nice apartment complex to live at for my family and I. The neighbors were alright, for the most part. If you lived in the townhomes, you had to utilize the laundry rooms within the apartment buildings being that the townhomes didnt have laundry rooms within them. The manager of the property made sure there was a pest control person to come by every month. Maintenance issues were handled quicky upon the property manager receiving a work order. However, I put a lot of effort into making sure that before my family and I vacated the place, that I cleaned every single bedroom and closets walls and shelves, livingroom, dining room, kitchen, as well as both bathrooms and storage rooms. I took photos of those rooms and was told that the place was not left clean, and I am very disappointed in being told this as I took my time making sure that every wall was cleaned. The refrigerator and stove and sinks and countertops were also cleaned by me personally. Yet, upon me turning in my keys and calling the manager, to my surprise I was told that the place was not cleaned! I dont know what happened to the place after I left there, but in all honesty, I went out my way washing all of those walls in the place assured that they were clean. So, if you live in one of these apartments make sure that you get an exiting inspection before you vacated the premises as, it will be your word verses the managers on how you left your apartment home! I took photos after cleaning up, yet that doesnt seem to matter! For all I know, someone photographed a similar apartments dirty walls and claimed it was the same place. I am truly disappointed, as the manager always said how I kept the place clean, but later said this negativity after I vacated the place! You cant always trust people! Always have an exit inspection before you move out!!!!more ...hide ...
