This company is a joke; they don't recognize the hard work of their employees, there are no raises, and the union is undervalued. Even though dues are taken out every two weeks, they don't do anything to help workers get higher wages. They have funds for camera systems, but pay their workers hardly anything; as a direct care provider, one should get more than 10.70. Not only do they not care about their consumers, but the people in Human Resources are paid well while the ones doing all the physical work are treated like peasants. The lady in payroll is constantly making mistakes with people's checks, but she remains in the office. This company is family oriented, so no consequences will befall those related to the company. However, if any employee makes a mistake, they will be reprimanded. In training they tell us we are allowed to eat, but there isn't enough food for the consumers. This place needs to be shut down or someone needs to show they care, as Joe doesn't. All the direct care staff ought to go on strike and let the Human Resources personnel do all the staff's tasks, and maybe then they will realize how much goes into caring for these individuals. I would never send my dog there, let alone a family member!
