My elderly pal has been living in Minnisink for some time now. Though her studio apartment is quite cramped, she seems to be content. Though her studio apartment is quite cramped, she seems to be content. Since her adult children do not appear to be involved in her life, I make it a point to stay in touch with her. I also had an incident with the Manager, Kimberly. When I was arriving at the apartment complex, I had not even hit the gas pedal yet, yet she started reprimanding me for the speed limit. I tried to explain twice that my foot was not on the pedal and that the car was decelerating from 20mph to 18mph, however my explanation was unsatisfactory to her, as she kept pointing out that the senior person I was visiting would be held responsible for my speeding. All I said in the end was, "Have a nice day". My senior friend has had several run-ins with her. She speaks to them, the residents, like they are inmates in a prison. Around two and a half years ago, I was attempting to contact my senior friend and I was worried that something awful may have happened to her, like she was unconscious or even dead in her apartment. I left a voicemail for the office, detailing my concern and giving my name, phone number, etc. but I did not get a response, nor did my elderly friend receive any call from the office.
