I cannot even make a quarter turn in my kitchen in my wheelchair, so I have to cook and do dishes at an angle. Additionally, the oven door opens and almost hits the sink, which is dangerous. The refrigerator had to be placed in my dining room on the other side of the kitchen wall because I could not fit through. The walls and doors are also becoming scratched up, but I cannot help that. I am worried that I will be charged for it when I move out. Additionally, there is no fire extinguisher in my house; the closest one is outside my neighbor's house. It seems like they are more concerned with whether we can put flowers in the yard than these issues. We also cannot have any antennas, so I cannot get any kind of TV unless it can go on the porch. There is also not a satellite dish on the porch, only beside it. This has made me depressed since I have lived here. I am not sure if it would help if I had an easier way to get around, or if it is like this everywhere. My last apartment was not like this and it was owned by the same company.more ...hide ...
