Moving into the apartment was an unpleasant experience; there was much misinformation given to me. I was required to pay the first and last month's rent, which is a common practice; however, I was given a discount for moving in mid-month. After that, the rent increased by $100 in just one year, and I was not given a chance to contest it. Nevertheless, I was an excellent tenant, never missing a payment, always quiet, and my apartment was in impeccable condition, according to the resident manager. Now, when I am planning to move out, the stories have changed. I was told that I only need a thirty-day notice, but now they are saying I need two months. Furthermore, I have to give a notice at the end of the month and not in the middle. I find this to be quite unfair. The head office was of no help either, and the only thing they suggest is that I pay a $250 reassignment fee upfront while they try to rent the apartment. I don't understand why I need to pay that in advance; they took $1300 each month for a two-bedroom apartment for more than a year and a half. Originally, I was looking forward to moving in, but after this situation, it seems that Skyline is all about the money and not about customer service. Awful Repairs are done very rarely and when they do finally get done they are done on the cheap For example I currently have mismatched countertops in my kitchen
Good never crowded no noise and peaceful Need some improvement in snow removal and lightings in parking and rear side of apartments so many tenants go for walk during night in dark in rear area of building
