Before, I had been unhappy about the narrow walls of the building, the lack of bike parking for over seven months, and the sudden closure of common areas for external parties. I also had to pay an extra $80 to use the gym, even though it was included in my 1-bed rental. I had thought the staff were great but the management were terrible, but now I'm changing my opinion. This place could easily be a five-star establishment if they improved the management.more ...hide ...
I lived happily at River Place for several years The only negative hence 4 star vs 5 star rating was the constant beeping of city buses reversing when they pulled in to leave their vehicles over night and leaving in the early morning Hundreds of busI lived happily at River Place for several years The only negative hence 4 star vs 5 star rating was the constant beeping of city buses reversing when they pulled in to leave their vehicles over night and leaving in the early morning Hundreds of buses beeping drove me crazy especially when you had settled in for the night My apartment was on the NW corner directly overlooking the bus terminal Of course one can always hear the constant hum of the city the sirens but it was those buses that got me After two years I was done I left my lovely two bedroom two full bath apartment with fabulous views of both the Hudson River and views to the tip of Manhattan and said Adiosmore ...hide ...

I wish Id listened to my local friends warning about this spot.Ive had better stays at motel 6. The only nice thing I could sat about this hotel is the housekeeping staff were all kind, friendly people, and the location is convenient.But if youre looking for basics like shampoo, towels, a closet and a front desk that is reachable,stay literally anywhere else.more ...hide ...
