Initially I wanted to give just one star but then I realised that I was comparing a bed and breakfast unit with a luxury hotel It was my expectations versus realisation Holland Hotel is not a typical hotel They serve you nothing but breakfast They doInitially I wanted to give just one star but then I realised that I was comparing a bed and breakfast unit with a luxury hotel It was my expectations versus realisation Holland Hotel is not a typical hotel They serve you nothing but breakfast They dont even have a phone in the room to call the front desk They have no one to assist you with your luggage So tugging it up or down is your problem Oh they dont have a lift either So if you have physical mobility issues please look elsewhere Forget a lobby coffee shop and restaurant within its not there But its located close walkable distance of about 13 miles to the Newport PATH station They are very efficient and respond They keep the rooms clean But dont expect courtesy like in luxury hotels You pay that much only If you are a tourist and want to save money then this is the placemore ...hide ...

I could give a long venting rant about- the dirty ashes in the sink at check in,- rusty tub- mildew smelling closet (dont use it!)- having 1 single towel at checkin and no shampoo- rude front desk that doesnt picI could give a long venting rant about- the dirty ashes in the sink at check in,- rusty tub- mildew smelling closet (dont use it!)- having 1 single towel at checkin and no shampoo- rude front desk that doesnt pick up -ever - despite having zero line at the desk - eventually youll have to go down yourself so youll see that(but a reservations line that is always available to take your money ),But Ill just leave it at this: its a dirty hole. I wish Id listened to my local friends warning about this spot.Ive had better stays at motel 6. The only nice thing I could sat about this hotel is the housekeeping staff were all kind, friendly people, and the location is convenient. But if youre looking for basics like shampoo, towels, a closet and a front desk that is reachable, stay literally anywhere else.more ...hide ...
