I first encountered Lefferts Garden Adult Daycare while I was waiting for my ride home at KCHC. A young lady came up to me and asked if I'd like to come to the center to take a look around. I said yes and gave her my contact information. I went there on a Friday and it was a great experience. I've been returning ever since. At the daycare, there's a variety of activities. We have breakfast in the morning and snacks throughout the day. We also do arts and crafts, play bingo, do puzzles, and have games like pool and table football. There's a room with recliners for relaxing, and a massage chair too. We gather in a large space to eat lunch, and there's a beauty salon for hair care. We even go out on trips to see movies or eat at restaurants, and get manicures and pedicures. The staff are very kind and always available to help or answer questions. There's also a physical instructor who comes to help us stay healthy and fit. The director of the daycare is a very nice person who always inquires about our wellbeing.
