During that period, I could smell my neighbor's dirty cat litter in my own bathroom due to a problem with the shared ventilation system that the building can't or won't repair. My hot water frequently comes out brown and murky (pictured) since I moved in. A strange crack appeared on my wall when I was at work one day (pictured) and although I have been told that someone would come to fix it, no one has done so for weeks. For a few months, my refrigerator door would not close properly, causing food to spoil more quickly, and it took them months to replace the fridge (it just got fixed a few days ago). Finally, and maybe most outrageous of all, my rent inexplicably increased one month and when I called to ask why, they said there was a clause on the 33rd (THIRTY THIRD!) page of my lease written in incomprehensible legal language that said it could happen, although no one gave me a warning before I moved in.
