Despite the fact that she did not require a handicap apartment, Mr.Asabubbaman persuaded her to take it, assuring her that cabinets, a new sink, and a front door would be installed. Everyone I have spoken to since has been impolite and unprofessional, such as when the manager, Mrs. Odom, visited the apartment and declared to me that there was nothing wrong with it. I disagreed, explaining that it was not suitable for a regular person, as it lacked cabinets, and my mother is an elderly woman. To make matters worse, she is now dealing with bedbugs. NYCHA should be embarrassed by the way they treat senior citizens; I have been given the runaround every time I call. Mr. Kutu promised he would come back and fix everything, but that was a lie. Thank you, NYCHA, for giving my elderly mother and other senior citizens such an appalling quality of life. more ... hide ...

Im forced to give this place 1 star this place is just sad I cant understand how they can treat the elderly that way These people have worked and paid taxes is sad to see what the big Apple offers them The greatest city of the world I have so much r Im forced to give this place 1 star this place is just sad I cant understand how they can treat the elderly that way These people have worked and paid taxes is sad to see what the big Apple offers them The greatest city of the world I have so much respect for a person of age but NYC doesnt They are placed in these Senior Citizen housing apartments where they not only have to pay rent which is ok but living in a project and you pay light is not right You have other projects that have people living of the system and all they have to do is pay rent But NYC makes a Senior Citizen housing where they make the elderly pay rent and light The building are so dirty that they are infested with bed bugsnThe laundry room has washing machines from the 80s when you need something repaired in your apartment all they do is patch things up The hallways have leaks everywhere they are always having problems with the hot water going out in the winter Is horrible that they have to live in those condition more ... hide ...
