Even thoug Management and leasing are discourteous and do not answer phone calls. The building has been subject to loud construction for the whole of the work from home period (15 months now) with no decrease in rent or even an expression of remorse. Even though it is impractical to take calls and work from the apartment, their exclusive recommendation is to vacate the apartment (that we pay the full rent for) during the day. Elevators are slow and unreliable, taking 5 minutes before it arrives at the floor - be prepared to climb the stairs (the first 6 floors are medical offices so the elevators stop at each floor on the way down). Collecting a package from the mailroom requires multiple visits since they have varying and unpredictable hours during the day. The doormen are the only thing I appreciate about this building. This building has a lot of potential and is in a great location, however, we will not extend our lease and suggest that you consider twice before leasing an apartment here.Response to Owner's Comment: I gave up my apartment though my partner still lives in the building. Right now listening to loud construction for the third day in a row as I write this review, so I don't think you are taking turns. To make matters worse, we found out you are leasing apartments on our floor through Airbnb and proposed that tenant a 25% discount due to the loud noise when he complained but have provided us nothing. more ... hide ...

However, the management is the worst I have ever encountered. Construction has been going on in my floor for the past 6 months since I moved in August of 2020. For weeks, the noise was so loud that the apartment was unbearable to live in. Numerous conversations were had by tenants on my floor with the management but no satisfactory outcome was achieved, and the landlord refused to provide any form of compensation. There was once a meeting room that could be used when the noise was too loud, but they even ended up renting that out. It is incredibly aggravating to be living in such a place where one cannot concentrate on work or have even a moment of peace during the day, with landlords who prioritize their own interests over the tenants and do not offer anything in return for the distress caused. In response to the owners comment: I am not referring to updates via emails but rather, some tangible way to improve the living environment. The issue that I, as well as the other tenants on my floor, face, persisted for the entire 6 months of the construction, and throughout this time, our complaints were disregarded and no mutually beneficial solution was provided. I am writing this review to inform others of my experience, even if the noise has decreased recently as my one-year lease has passed its halfway point. more ... hide ...

I The feedback regarding the dishonesty of the management company is accurate, and I strongly suggest avoiding this property. When I was moving in, I made it clear that I required the flat to be peaceful, however they guaranteed that it was tranquil. In reality, there was a neighboring tenant who had difficulty hearing and would frequently have their TV and radio on at a very high volume, day and night. When I raised this with them, I asked for one of three options: to be released from the contract, to be shifted to a different flat in the building, or for the tenant to be evicted. Their replies exactly were: 1. "We cannot allow you to terminate your lease or move to a different apartment at this time" 2. "In this case, we have not issued an eviction notice, since this does not qualify as a reason for eviction, and the process to do so is quite lengthy". In the end, I left and they attempted to sue me for breaking the agreement after they had falsely represented the dwelling. I settled with them in court for a reduced amount to save further hassle. In conclusion, this is a company and a building you should really stay away from. more ... hide ...

2022-02-16T21:10:48ZAbsolutely steer clear of the building and management company I spoke to their leasing team through the process and submitted an application After running my credit and confirming it was approved they gave me a ring to request sensitive incomebank fo Absolutely steer clear of the building and management company I spoke to their leasing team through the process and submitted an application After running my credit and confirming it was approved they gave me a ring to request sensitive incomebank forms and identification only to inform me the next morning that they leased the unit to someone else and followed up by trying to suggest I lease a smaller unit at the same rent instead I was given no heads up that someone else was in process and they did not inform me before running my credit I wish I heeded the multiple negative reviews online before submitting an application here as it seems that others have had the same ridiculous experience and based on reviews from residents it sounds like management is just as terrible to deal with as you live in the building Completely unacceptable business practices more ... hide ...
