The leasing agent will be very persuasive and tell you that the building has new management and will be making various improvements, such as upgrades to the lobby, lighting, flooring in the hallways, gyms on every floor, a new key card entry system, and more. Unfortunately, none of this is true; the management is doing very little to improve the building. They are also extremely unprofessional and treat residents with disrespect. During my stay at LaSalle, my car was broken into numerous times, and parts of the parking structure even fell on vehicles and caused extensive damage. I ended up parking in the free lot because the fee for the garage is far too expensive. My car was hit in the parking lot and neither the damage nor the two broken side windows were compensated. The basement would often flood and the fire alarm would go off for hours during the night. People would smoke drugs in the hallways, and I could smell cigarette smoke coming from the stairwell and into some apartments. The list of problems goes on and on. I strongly advise not to move in here, as you will surely be disappointed. I wish I had listened when people told me their horror stories about this place. more ... hide ...
