Five stars is not enough to show how happy I am to have lived at Hotel Saint Clair for the past two years The management was always prompt to respond to any of my emails and the maintenance staff Rick was helpful and kind whenever I accidentally lockFive stars is not enough to show how happy I am to have lived at Hotel Saint Clair for the past two years The management was always prompt to respond to any of my emails and the maintenance staff Rick was helpful and kind whenever I accidentally locked myself out of my apartment The backparking lot is gated as well as the front of the building and I always felt safe There is plenty of street parking availability right in front of the building and my boyfriend never had a problem finding a spot when he came to visit no matter the time of day The community of the apartment has been cheerful and welcoming and it was always nice to run into someone in the elevator There have been no incidents of stealing in the laundry room and everyone is respectful when placing someone elses items on top of a machine when someone forgets to grab their clothes When getting a package other tenants were kind enough to bring your package inside the building if it was left on the front porch We like to help each other out The staff always let you know days before entering your apartment for pest control checkups and water pipe checkups so you can lock up any pets On the top floor there is a huge community room with tables and sometimes the staff hosted gettogether parties for all the tenants There are extra storage lockers in the basement that are free to reserve I put my big boxes and winter clothes in my locker during the summer months There is a big park across the street with a playground for kids to play and dogs to run around Sometimes in the summer there were food trucks and little festivals held at the park during the day that are super fun to attend and its right across the street for easy walking distance Locationwise it is super close to downtown and Columbus State is right across the bridge yet you are away from any downtown noises My actual apartment on the third floor is super cute and the perfect size for me The price for a one bedroom this close to downtown is hard to beat The water in the shower is always hot and I have never had a problem in my two years of living here with having enough hot water The Wifi is great and consistent and when I was finishing up my degree the first year and a half of living here I was always able to do all my online assignments without any problems The apartment building itself was clean and never smelled bad There are super nice staff that came to vacuum clean the hallways and stairs during the day Overall Hotel Saint Clair is one of the nicest places I have ever lived and it check marked all my boxes regarding price location community safety amenities and aestheticmore ...hide ...

All units are electric only and serviced by City of Columbus Public Utilities. Heres the kicker, PIP is not offered to city electric customers. Because of some obscure and outdated city ordinance, tenants in MVP are denied the use of the very low income program created for them!!! Any tenant whose electric is shut off has 72 hours to restore service or an eviction is begun. Like mice? Youve come to the right place. You would do best to just sit out a bowl of food for them, like a pet or something. At least youd be able to manage your own fleet and know their whereabouts!!! The short story: stay away from this place until under New management.more ...hide ...
