The apartments may look nice, but don't be fooled. The neighbors and seniors in the community tend to be nosy and act like toddlers, gossiping and complaining about everything you do. There are many rules here and they treat you more like a nursing home than an independent living. Most of the seniors here form cliques, become snobby and talk about people all the time. The management tends to believe whatever complaints they get without any proof. You cannot have aquariums, birds in cages, or flowers without containers, even though the office is allowed to have flowers without containers. They seem to be trying to get me out for no good reason. I do think the management is somewhat discriminatory against white people, as we seem to be "picked on" more than the others. I've never lived in a senior place before and never will again. The residents here are not friendly, with only a few exceptions. They are nosy, constantly complaining, and will report you to the office if you look at them wrong. Despite all of this, the apartments are beautiful and the maintenance is very good. So, if you decide to live here, you must ignore everyone and not let the management bully you. more ... hide ...
