It has come to my attention that some negative comments are being made about my apartment building's office manager. I have been living at the Village Green Apartments for 12 years and this is my home, so I feel the need to defend it. I have been living at the Village Green Apartments for 12 years and this is my home, so I feel the need to defend it. My office manager, Lori Hempfield, is an excellent manager and will do whatever she can to solve any issues that arise. Steve and Dusty, who are the maintenance men, come by weekly and are available in case of emergencies. There are certain rules that must be followed, as stated in the lease, but they are not difficult to adhere to. If you do not want to comply with them, you can find somewhere else to live. Instead of speaking badly of Lori Hempfield and Village Green Apartments, consider that most of us here have low incomes and this is the only place we can afford to stay. The apartments are clean and safe and are equipped with LG appliances. There is a community room that everyone can use and the price of the laundry facilities is lower than the laundromat. The yard is mowed and the trash is taken out, plus the parking lot is cleared of snow in the winter. I am 61 years old and am very grateful for Village Green Apartments, Lori Hempfield, Steve, and Dusty, and the work they do to keep the place running smoothly. If you don't like your home, move or stop complaining and look for ways to make it a better place. Thank you. P more ... hide ...
