2023-03-27T10:00:03ZI moved in August 2014 and left August 31, 2015 after the end of my lease. A few weeks later, I saw in my local newspaper that I had a forcible entry and detainer on me. Not only that, the manager had been harassing me since the second month I was th I moved in August 2014 and left August 31, 2015 after the end of my lease. A few weeks later, I saw in my local newspaper that I had a forcible entry and detainer on me. Not only that, the manager had been harassing me since the second month I was there, even reporting me to DHS. There were a lot of drugs around, and I found needles under the stairway. The place was filthy. I had constant issues with my kitchen sink that were never fixed. One night, the pipes started spewing water, and the manager sent her boyfriend to look at it. He finally stopped the water, but he used three of my personal towels and then threw them out my backdoor without my knowledge, and then I was written up for it. Not only that, she left the apartment open for a month after I moved out, and people were coming in and out of it (this is a small town). Apparently, an animal or person had pooped in a room (not a first time thing in that place), so she took pictures of it a month later and sent it to DHS. I caution everyone to stay away from this place! Nothing but trouble that I'm still dealing with today, including this eviction on my record. The manager allegedly bragged to other tenants asking if she did the right thing. Angie Parkhill is the manager, and Dalton is her nephew, who of course left good reviews. The mold in Apartment 16 was especially bad, yet she still moved in a lady and her infant baby, despite knowing it could harm them. I used to cough and vomit all night due to her harassment with fabricated lease violation notes on my door. She was disrespectful, rude, and hateful. When I left for work, she stole something from my apartment and then tried to be nice in an attempt to get me to sign two leases so she could take the money for herself. Nothing ever got fixed in a timely manner when I asked for help. When I confronted her about my stolen phone, she was scared and nervous. I contacted her bosses (Sharon and Misty) for help, but they were of no assistance. They were obviously angry that I didn't renew my lease and they knew she had stolen the phone. Angie Parkhill also tried to charge me for damage to the property, although the apartments were already old and the maintenance man claimed it was just wear and tear that needed to be changed. She charged me 85$, but expecting me to pay 730$ when they can't even afford to repair the property? No way. I wouldn't recommend anyone staying here. more ... hide ...
