The management is crooked, crooked, crooked! The Hot Point stoves/ovens that are in each apartment, have a Manufacturer recall on them due to starting fires. (And several have been catching on fire) Management knows about this, but wait for the next victim. Then they bill the resident for the fire damage. I would not be surprised if management is also collecting from their insurance company in addition to the resident.I watched them discriminate against a neighbor just because she is black.-First off I am white. I went into the office & told them I wanted to upgrade from my 2 bedroom to a 3 bedroom. They had no problem accommodating me. They gave me paperwork to fill out, and a move in date. No inspections or deposits required. I found out a few days later, a neighbor of mine (black woman) had been on a waiting list for a 3 bedroom for several years. Well they never put me on any list and I hadnt even lived here a year yet. Several weeks later I had a financial crisis and withdrew my application. Me and the neighbor went into the office. I told them why I had to withdraw my application and that my neighbor (the black woman sitting next to me) would like to apply for that apartment. The office manager glared at me and told me I had to leave the office. Well they looked for every reason to deny this lady when she had a clean record of EVERYTHING.... They wanted to charge her $125 in extermination fees to remove 2 Moths from her kitchen. And aside from that, her apartment was immaculate. Section 8 had been in that apartment just a couple of weeks prior and found no issues. When she cited discrimination, they tried to coerce her to move into a different 3 bedroom apartment where a child was murdered several years ago. Miranda Crockett. Apt 135Kings Garden discriminated against this lady because she/we caught them lying about the availability of housing and because she is black. She is a sweet lil old grandma taking care of her dying sister.Do not move here! All 3 office management lives on site and if they dont like you, they will try to get you out. Oh and apparently they do not care if your oven catches on fire due to the recall.more ...hide ...
