I wanted to turn around and run. First of all, Outside front door dirty and debris all over. Then the smell when front door opened I cant even describe.Entry way linoleum was dirty with debris but was also about 5\" all around edge was filthy build up of grime. Needs bleach! Then the carpet is so old I cant believe its newer than 15-20 years. If it isnt the color and brand should be changed.Inside bathroom cabinet couldve used paint and handles added as a cheap update. The medicine cabinet was again 20 or more years old. With missing doors they have on back order. Probably because they dont make them anymore. Then the heat lamp was missing.I was in shock by this point and just wanted to get out of there. We continued on to kitchen.Where again floors filthy with debris and grime build up all around edges. And cabinets could use a nice coat of paint and handles. Sink had gross debris in drain a big blob of hairy stuff. And couldve used a good bleach clean and Sheila shine. Oven still had white oven cleaner all over it and grates were on back porch. I didnt inspect stove to well as again all I wanted was out of there. Fridge was missing produce drawers. I couldnt even look at anything else close enough. I came away from here feeling as if tenants do not matter. Speaking of which a tenant came in to describe a very scary situation involving a possible person out of jail who must live there. That a concern mustve been raised before involving him because a background check had already been done. I paid the pro rated day of rent for holding on to the keys for 10 minutes. I am still angry and upset this place looks like that. And that I wasted so much of my own time on this dump. The manager doesnt even live onsite. Neither did the guy who showed me the unit. He talked about all the outside upgrades like sidewalk and play structure and siding in the works at 30,000 surplus they get. At that rate by the time they finish theyll have to start at the beginning again. Wow new windows and patio grates all outside improvements while insides look like crap. Again another sign tenants dont matter.more ...hide ...
