I have lived at Citizens Plaza for 2 years now. It is a great place to live. Its a 9 story building with 2 elevators. There is free parking on site, but there are a limited number of spaces. But I only had to wait a few I have lived at Citizens Plaza for 2 years now. It is a great place to live. Its a 9 story building with 2 elevators. There is free parking on site, but there are a limited number of spaces. But I only had to wait a few months to get a space. A lot of the residents dont have cars, so the wait time was a pleasant surprise. The lot is adjacent to the building, with an entry \"gate\" that is operated with a remote that they give you. There is a city owned huge parking garage directly across from the building if there are no spaces available in the apartment lot. The monthly leases are reasonable at about $25. The building is in pretty good shape. There is a nice community room, and lovely \"reading\" room. Both in the lobby. There is a property manager on site weekdays from 9-5. She treats people with dignity and respect. She is very knowledgeable, and can answer any questions you might have. Maintenance staff is also very nice and treat us well. Each apartment has a large private balcony. Laundry on site on two different floors. I have never had to postpone doing my laundry. The cost for laundry is $1.50 per washer and $1.50 for the dryer. Very reasonable. There is an outdoor courtyard with benches, and a table and chairs. It is surrounded by landscaping and nicely secluded. Very nice landscaping also, along the front of the building. Typical apartment building security entrance. They take good care of us. They prefer seniors or younger people with disabilities. I would guess that about 80% of the residents are \"seniors\" and the rest are mainly folks a little younger with disabilities. They have been \"on top\" of things with the COVID pandemic. They even had a COVID vaccination clinic in partnership with Walgreens pharmacy. The clinic was in the building community room, and well organized for \"social distancing\" and other precautions. No apartment building is 100% perfect, but this is a pretty good place to live.more ...hide ...
