Hi my name is **first*name**hidden** I am and have vbeen trying to find a 2 or 3 bed rental 3 would be more exact since there is myself and two children 1 Boy age 12 and a girl age 11 So the only way I would be able to have a 2 bed is if it had a double polor so to turn one room into a bed room My situation is extremely complicated The apartment that I live in now was my sons and in order for me to be able to foster my Grandchildren I had to move back to Pawtucket at that time I was living in Narragansett so my son let us stay in his While i was here I was starting to look for a more adequate living space and then COVID hit While I was waiting for apartments to start to open back up I started to see the reality of this apartment it was infested with Rodents The landlord basicly said he has tryed everything the exterminator said that in order to get rid the mice the landlord needed to fill holes in the foundation and then because the mice had been there so long that they had basicly established communities in the walls so i started to look for and fill holes in my apartment but because the landlord was not going to do anything the would come thru the walls again My grandson is a sever asthmatic and he started to become very sick and yes all the while i am looking for an apartment and still complaining and becoming very irate because he just would not do anything Now with all that being said i can just kinda give a list of issues that came with the mice They chewed wireing so i have no lites or sparatic lites in the bathroom I bought a lamp They have given my apartment Mice Mites I guess they are fleas to mice they just poulate our house and bite us Ok enough with the mice and yes this has been documented to section 8 we will move on to the first floor the Landlords apartment Al has turned his apt and the bacement into room for rent as I heard from one boarder he chargers her 500a month any way in order to make this work for him he had to change sewage pipes The pipes for the Toilet He did this him self no assistance no contracts no idea as to what could happen then he put in a second washing machine and after that I started to loose water pressureand blow fuses I called the electric Company to see if I could do anything about him using my electric they basicly said no the house is old this is going on 3 years of things like that In between looking for an apartment attending counciling for the kids adoption procedure Trying to keep up with DCYF and what I needed to do for them Now the landlords wif039s friend needed an apartment which started a long list of complaints I was told not to walk on t kitchen floor after 9 cuz she could not sleepWhen I said that she was being un reasonable I started to get calls from section 8 One was they are selling the house and I had to move by Octthe house needs to be empty I told section 8 this was a lie because if anyone inspected this house it would be condemned all the while I cant say anything or call the housing inspector cuz he is a long time friend of my ex husband and he said that this house was all he had and because they were not getting to me they started to say some rotten things to kids One day I heard Al and I ran down stairs and asked him to never address the kids he needed to talk to me Al replied the only thing that he wanted to do was punch me in the face I put my cane down took of my glasses and said go ahead My poor grandson heard the whole thing and started to have anxiety attacks saying I cant protect my grandmother or his self kinda derailed all his counciling up to that point My family is starting to fall apart And i still never reported him Because I just want to move to a clean up to date secure place for us to live I get so stressed that I forget who did I call and if I write it down I forget where I put it I know that this sounds very scattered and even maybe a little hard to believe About me my credit score is not good but My Rental history has improved greartly over the past 5 years all due to section 8 So Before I loose everything if someone would just believe me and give me a chance pleaser call text or EMail with an apartment company owned or private I need to move from the Twilight Zone Thank you for reading my woes
