Additionally, I was asked to complete training courses after-hours without pay, and to print and distribute notices even though it was storming outside and my assistant manager was off that day. Mrs. Perry is knowledgeable but only looks out for herself, and there is more to the story. If you're considering a leasing position there, I urge you to look elsewhere. Ive lived here just over a year with my family. I have a neighbor who brags about how he \"knows security\" and can do whatever he wants as he buys drugs off of visiting boys. I have a neighbor who brags about how he \"knows security\" and can do whatever he wants as he buys drugs off of visiting boys. I have a dishwasher that sat dead for six months before a maintenance man helpfully did the old \"bang on it to get it to work\" trick (granted, its from 1995, so it may have actually fixed it). I live in a \"remodeled\" unit, which means random planks of wood nailed in gaps in the counter and painted brown, loose outlet plugs, and them having decided to tear out all of the phone lines. There was a weird rule about candles because they were a fire hazard (but loose outlet sockets are totally safe, amiright?). My sink, which was dripping from the faucet, now sounds like an inebriated man relieving himself after one hell of a week of drinking. Its a scalding hot stream of water, which was seen as \"not important right now\". I have a burner out in a 17 year old stove. There are roaches crawling out of holes in the walls, and theres some form of creature living in the roof. Woohoo, second floor unit. Oh, and the laundry facility was out for nine months due to a gas leak. We dont have washer/dryer hookups here. The dumpster gets so disgusting that the waste disposal company sometimes refuses to clear it out until someone comes out and takes care of things. And, we had a lovely shooting back in December. It happened right behind my unit. What seemed to occur was a huge group of people were acting loud and obnoxious and fighting about something. I heard a sound that sounded like a gunshot, but honestly, thats so common here, you just kind of shrug it off. Too bad our \"security officer\" is probably too busy smoking pot with my neighbor to break up crowds like that before things escalate. Whew, is there anything Im missing?? Oh, yeah. If the management strikes you as rude and unprofessional, its because they are. Theyll roll their eyes at you as you enter as though they are in fact 14 year old girls as opposed to women in their 50+s, glaring as they demand to know how you date to intrude on their peaceful day of sitting in the office loudly discussing how much they \"hate this f$@&ing place\". I mean, if you need any help deciding whether to live here or do whatever you can to gtfo, that attitude there should tell you all you need to know. All in all, a truly WONDERFUL place to live. If youre a roach, a ceiling-dwelling rodent, a drug doer/seller, or a raccoon. Well be moving out as soon as we can scrape enough together for a deposit.more ...hide ...

This is the most terrible place I have ever lived in. Nothing ever gets fixed by the maintenance staff and the office staff has been trying to cheat me, even after I got an attorney involved. Moreover, I had never seen a cockroach in my life before and now I'm seeing them all the time. I've informed the office about this, but they are afraid of getting fined if they have to come for inspection more than twice a year. I have been living here since August, and have had to dial 911 many times. Last summer, kids from this complex were kidnapped and assaulted. Last night, my neighbor was even killed. I implore anyone who values their safety and wellbeing not to move here. If you already have children, please keep them away from this place. I have a kid, and he is not allowed to go out unless I'm with him, not even another adult. This week I'm going to court about a fourteen or fifteen-year-old from the apartments who has done horrendous things, like bullying five-year-olds and bringing a knife on the bus and threatening a young girl. Thankfully, I'm going to be able to move out of here before my lease is up.more ...hide ...
