The case worker is rude, nasty, and plays favorites among the tenants. She withholds food services from elderly disabled tenants if her tenant friends tell her community gossip. Today, I witnessed her being mean to an elderly woman who was getting off the elevator. The case worker told the handicapped woman that she made her sick and to get away from her. I do not recommend anyone put a loved one in this situation. This has to be a violation of the Tennessee handicapped protection act. This poor woman had no reason to be verbally assaulted in front of people.
Upper management would do much better by getting rid of the bad staff and starting over. I was also told that my elderly mother has been denied her truck-to-table food service because she refused to give a person a ride in her car and that tenant went and told the case manager Susan that my mom was giving away food. Rather than taking the issue head on, she took the word of the upset tenant and cut my mother's food benefits off. This is very unprofessional to do to an elderly tenant, especially based on gossip.
I have been told that this tenant also is given a two-bedroom unit even though it is only herself living there, as well as other special services because she is friends with the case worker. Poor management like this can bring down an entire establishment, so it is best to get rid of the bad apples beforemore ...hide ...
