When I entered the office to sign documents, the smell of smelly feet was overwhelming and highly unprofessional. We even got a lease violation for having a small Hot Wheels car outside. Crazy, right? The only way the manager would repair things was when an inspection was coming. I once left my bike and barbecue pit outside and the following morning, they were gone. When I inquired about my grill, the front desk told me that she had thrown it away because “she doesn't eat meat.” One night, I woke up to the manager standing by my bed with a screwdriver. She said she was there to fix the doorknob that I had complained about 6 months ago. That same morning, I went to make breakfast and she sat down at my table and took my plate. I was bewildered. We got a letter one day stating that she would be coming over to repair certain things, and I was asleep so I didn't open the door. Then I heard a loud crash and ran out of my bedroom to see that the manager had kicked down my door. I could no longer tolerate this, so I decided to move out.
