My children are thriving at Stepping Stones Montessori Choosing a preschool seemed like an intimidating task I wanted to ensure we found the best fit for my kids personalities an environment where they could learn and grow with joy Stepping Stones h My children are thriving at Stepping Stones Montessori Choosing a preschool seemed like an intimidating task I wanted to ensure we found the best fit for my kids personalities an environment where they could learn and grow with joy Stepping Stones has a great reputation so when the time came to enroll for Fall semester this was the first school I turned to We had our interview and tour of the school and it was immediately made obvious that there was a consistency between how I try to raise my children at home and how Stepping Stones guides children through the education process Respect for oneself others our space and the freedom to explore are all a part of their curriculum Fortunately there were two openings left in a classroom for my two children to fill So far in this first half of the school year I have noticed growth in how my children speak act and are confident to try new things My children also enjoy the quiet little area the school is tucked into making it a calming place Im so grateful to the staff at Stepping Stones This Montessori is a treasure we are fortunate to have found more ... hide ...

Very different from the experience they try to sell you during the school selection process The head of school has shown no ability to safely staff her classrooms multiple times we were called at 8pm the night before and asked to keep our child at ho Very different from the experience they try to sell you during the school selection process The head of school has shown no ability to safely staff her classrooms multiple times we were called at 8pm the night before and asked to keep our child at home due to the inability for them to staff the classroom These were not Covid related staffing issues andnMiss Margie would admit to having known for days that they were going to be short staffed only to let us know that night before The teachers and administration completely lacked transparency and communication Our sons kindergarten teacher was highly unqualified and behaved in an incredibly unprofessional manner in front of students and parents The staffing issue only continued to worsen making an unsafe and unfair environment for the students If the head of the school is unable to safely staff the school with qualified professional teachers than the school should find somebody capable of that task Our son has made more progress in his first six weeks at the local public school than he did in his entire time at Stepping Stones They did very little to help him progress academically and socially and this experience was very difficult on him and has affected his confidence Thankfully things have really improved for him at his local public school I would strongly advise parents to not be fooled by the false narrative that the school tries to sell and to give your local public school a chance more ... hide ...
