I would not recommend these apartments to anyone. However, If you have to move in to these apartments because you have absolutely zero other options, then I suggest you take pictures right from the start and communicate with the staff via text or email. I would suggest not only filling the inventory and condition form but before you MOVE ANYTHING IN TAKE PICTURES. This is because they lie and come up with every excuse not to do their jobs, and if you do not have some sort of documentation then you cannot prove it. The managing staff have no idea what they are doing. We contacted the regional manager and all she had to say was sorry, when my husband and I complained about them not holding up their part of the lease. They dont let people tour the apartments before move in because they know nobody would move in. When I moved in both the guest and master bathtubs had severe cracks in them. I turned in the inventory and Condition form and told the property manager Jeanette about the cracks. She said that they would go over the form and fix what needed to be fixed. Spring forward to February of this year and we put in a maintenance request to have the master bath fixed. We would call or talk to Jeanette about every week to see when they were going to come and fix it. All she did was give us excuse after excuse. When we asked to speak to the person above her, the shower magically was going to be delivered the next week. All they did was go to Kerrville and buy one from Home Depot. Then the maintenance staff did not properly install the shower. Jeanette told the city inspector that it was, which I found amazing considering she was not there when it was installed. Needless to say the city inspector did not bother to check to see if it was in fact installed properly. I called manufacturers of walk-in showers to see if the shower was supposed to be making a popping noise each told me no it was not. That the shower was not installed correctly. Yet the maintenance and managing staff refuse to fix the problem. It seems like they are just incompetent from the top down. SO IF YOU CAN HELP IT DO NOT MOVE in to these apartments or any apartments run by the MacDonald Companies. They do not fix anything and IT IS JUST A WASTE OF your money. So I would not recommend that you spend you money here. As the regional manager put it the rent in Kerrville is cheaper.more ...hide ...

I€™ve only been here a couple months but the manager was super helpful and seems to do a really great job keeping up with everything. The apartment is nice and it€™s usually quiet and no one ever bothers me. The apartment is nice and it€™s usually quiet and no one ever bothers me. It€™s pet friendly but everyone obeys the pet rules. My only complaint would be the potholes that are nearly impassable i have to drive over to get into the parking lot. They seem like they would be inexpensive to fix and also seem to get worse every time it rains. That being said, still a really nice place.more ...hide ...
