2017-10-06T02:59:08ZIve been a resident of 333 place for about 6 months now The location is fantastic and you really cant beat the price for this area In truth the apartments arent perfect The building is a little older and could really use some investments from its own Ive been a resident of 333 place for about 6 months now The location is fantastic and you really cant beat the price for this area In truth the apartments arent perfect The building is a little older and could really use some investments from its ownership but its by all means still a comfortable living situation The reason it still gets 5 stars despite being somewhat dated from me is the property manager Rachel She goes above and beyond my expectations with every interaction There were a few small issues with my apartment when I moved in for instance my closet door wouldnt open properly and my windows were stuck but Rachel came right up to the apartment and personally saw that these issues though small got fixed right away Shes been more than courteous helping me move here from out of state When I reached out asking about the apartments Rachel was the first to email me back she even beat out the big companies There have been a few situations where things have come up that need her immediate attention and even at 10PM shes responsive and sees the issue through to its completion While the building and the grounds could be nicer like some of the other apartments in San Antonio I really doubt youd get the amazing level of service If youre looking for a place thats cheap and close to downtown or a spot to rest your head at night maybe even a transition apartment I couldnt recommend 333 place enough more ... hide ...

2015-10-16T20:38:04ZI lived in these apartments up until recently I lived there for 12 months and not a day longer than I had to This was by far my worst experience ever in any apartment building I have lived in in the past 12 yearsnImmediately upon move in I discovered I lived in these apartments up until recently I lived there for 12 months and not a day longer than I had to This was by far my worst experience ever in any apartment building I have lived in in the past 12 yearsnImmediately upon move in I discovered that the lock to my front window was broken It took 2 weeks and constant inquiries for the manager to not fix it but simply leave a lock screw outside my window sill expecting me to take care of it During these first 2 weeks it also took persistence on my part to finally get a key to my mailbox and someone to look at my air conditioner that was making loud rattling noises I quickly learned that this would set the tone for the remainder of my time at WestgatenThe manager and maintenance men would drink nightly on the property It honestly had stopped by the time I left but was going on for most of my time there The manager and maintenance staff would enter my apartment without cause and without leaving notice which is absolutely required as stated in the lease It got so bad that I installed a security camera in my apartmentnThere was mold and rodent droppings in my ac closet There are roaches crawling all over the apartment complex at night Before I left they changed the timers on the exterior lights and they would not come on until well after dark Its pitch black and dangerous with out being able to see the stairs and what notnTheres so much more I could go into but I wont I could live with the above but the worst was the air conditioning and electric bills From April to May my bill skyrocketed from about 50 to 125 I am not the type to keep my apartment at 65 degrees all day with the lights on Also I knew the outside temps were rising but not to levels justifying the bill I received After another month and an even higher electric bill I continued to complain my ac would not cool my apartment below about 72 degrees even overnight and it would run nonstop Seriously my ac would not stop running as in 247 even with overnight temps in the 80s If I used my oven the temperature in my apartment would get up to 80 Finally he admitted there was an issue and said hed discount my electric bills The manager lied to my face and told me I would be getting a new air conditioner instead he just went in and rigged the same old one He went so far as to tell me when I called that there was a crane there placing the new unit on the roof Not truenAbout a 2 months before my lease was set to expire the property was sold Within about a month of my lease expiring I sent an email hoping it would reach the new owners It did They were very responsive and met with me and I laid it all out for them They seemed genuinely interested in my feed back They had my minor maintenance issues immediately seen to My water was only running one temperature fixed Bathroom vent cover kept falling fixed No smoke alarm fixed Unfortunately even after I told them about entering my place with out noticeI came home one night to find muddy boot prints on my floor and a strange stench It turns out the kitchen sink above mine leaked into my place But I had no idea because I was not left notice smhnFor some reason they also refused to get a professional ac person to check out my ac issues They refused to admit there was a problem they refused to budge on my crazy electric bills I ran into a guy at the mailbox and his bill was over 200 My girlfriend has a 3 bedroom 2 story house and she was paying less than me I couldnt even use my oven I voiced my concerns to them over and over but nothing changednIf you decide to move here thats on you If you move into unit 125 after reading this review and begin to have ac troubles that fall on deaf ears well you have no one to blame but yourself Good luck apartment huntersn Take the 5 star reviews with a grain of salt as they were written by tenants who are also close friends of the manager more ... hide ...
