After arguing with the next manager, I discovered my rent had been altered three months after I'd been living there and I wasn't reimbursed! The upstairs apartment flushed the toilet and it flowed into my tub, overflowing my toilet, wetting my floors. They refused to replace my carpet or fix the issue. When I went to the office to file a complaint, I ended up with a write-up! Don't forget, my apartment flooded the first year I was there and was never fixed. Mildew was everywhere! My cabinets, walls, and doors were falling apart! When I refused to pay the rent until they fixed it, one of the many managers said to me, “you can't eat the steak and then complain about it.” They cut a huge hole over my tub and covered it with a board and left it like that! Half of my apartment didn't have electricity due to someone driving their car into the apartment, and instead of correcting it, they simply patched the hole. AND THIS IS JUST A FOURTH OF THE PROBLEMS HERE! Someone needs to shut them down! When I asked the manager to explain the write-up for a CHAIR on my porch more ... hide ...

Leslie and Karen (last names withheld) took heed to the rumors from maintenance staff member Andre about the tenants, which led to private information being used as a basis for many tenants' evictions - all based on false claims. Several long-term tenants were thus evicted. Favoritism then played a role with wives and daughters of the management and maintenance personnel getting the recently opened slots for rental assistance due to the wrongful evictions. The unprofessional use of their authority by Leslie, Karen, and Andre stripped many tenants of their homes that they had lived in for many years, violating the Fair Housing Act, disability rights, and even HUD regulations. Someone should launch an investigation by the US government; the findings would back up my statements. Andre even broke federal regulations by concocting his own pesticide and spraying the apartments. Additionally, he used the apartments to fund his own towing companies. Find out more about this, for the sake of tenants' rights to rent affordable housing without being subjected to harassment, intimidation, slander, or discriminatory practices.
