Previously, I had experience with this but I can't seem to recall it. My daughter was one of the first to inhabit these new apartments. It seemed like no one had done any tidying up after the remodeling of the apartment. Nevertheless, she kept quiet and was delighted to have her own place for her and her daughter. She was a single mom, going to college and also working full-time.
After being there for a year, she was never late with her rent or bills and was very responsible with her apartment. Although from the beginning, the door handles were falling off, some outlets weren't functioning and the windows weren't sealed correctly, causing wind and rain to come in. This led to her dining area flooding several times. She reported all these issues in writing to the office downstairs. Nevertheless, the handles were never fixed, several outlets still weren't working and the windows were only fixed in the last month she was living there. When she moved out, she was sure she would get her deposit back since she left it in better condition than when she first moved in. To her shock, she received a call a month later telling her that her deposit was used for cleaning and repairs and she still owed them three dollars, which was bogus! I wouldn't suggest anyone to rent an apartment there. The elevator was always breaking downmore ...hide ...
