When we found ourselves in need of putting our mother in a facility after a difficult hospital and subsequent skilled nursing facility stay we thought we had hit the jackpot with Country Lane We were given all kinds of promises by Liz that our mother When we found ourselves in need of putting our mother in a facility after a difficult hospital and subsequent skilled nursing facility stay we thought we had hit the jackpot with Country Lane We were given all kinds of promises by Liz that our mother would be very well taken care of For starters we were told they would absolutely transport her to dialysis 3x weekly and other appointments as needed We were more than frustrated to be told multiple times that they didnt know how she was getting to dialysis the next day We were told that they would engage in activities such as bingo crafts and cooking classes which our mother LOVES to do They made a couple simple crafts but apart from that they did nothing There was not one cooking day which was one of the reasons we chose this place Meds were always messed up Food was terrible we brought in snacks and food for her so she wouldnt starve Her diabetes diet was completely ignored The biggest offense was the fact that the staff threw away our mothers partial denture and then completely denied it Liz didnt even so much as offer an apologynNow it wasnt all bad there were a few staff members that we appreciated Brenda Rhonda and Oakley were three that seemed to care get things done and were always very attentivenLiz has very few interpersonal skills and will tell you what you want to hear to get your business We were also convinced to go with their home health care company that turned out to be an absolute joke We were more than happy when our house was finally built and we could bring our sweet mama home Do NOT send your loved ones here Its worth it to pay more for a nicer facility that will actually do what they say theyll do more ... hide ...
