Raven Terrace is one of the buildings that replaced the Yesler Terrace low income housing units at the corner of Yesler and Broadway in Seattle It was completed in 2016 and I moved in shortly thereafter It is managed by Seattle Housing Authority and Raven Terrace is one of the buildings that replaced the Yesler Terrace low income housing units at the corner of Yesler and Broadway in Seattle It was completed in 2016 and I moved in shortly thereafter It is managed by Seattle Housing Authority and I absolutely love living here The foot traffic brings in all sorts of people ALL sorts mainly because it is only a couple blocks from Harborview Medical Center There is a park just across the street adjacent to the Yesler Community Center It take me 5 minutes to walk to either Pioneer Square or the Seahawks stadium and only seven minutes to the Mariners Stadium all of which are downhill well getting there is anyway There are multiple bus stops nearby and its less than half a block to a streetcar stopThere isnt much shopping in the immediate vicinity but the international district is very close by and several new apartment buildings are being constructed which will probably bring in some retail stores upon their completion I can even see the Sound from the curb Did I mention I really love it heremore ...hide ...
If you dont want your packages stolen or tampered with and harassed by neighbors dont move here The managers are never in the office and they dont care about tenants safety or complaints
I grew up in this neighborhood defenetly aneather IKEA neighborhood now It needed improvements that goes without saying but is what is happening here an improvement Guess its point of view I defenetly would not live here again
