I039ve been a tenant at the Ridpath Club Apartments for over 2 12 years During this time I have seen consistent drug trafficking nonresidents surfing elevators nonresidents using emergency fire exit stairwells to get to different floors a meth lab an I039ve been a tenant at the Ridpath Club Apartments for over 2 12 years During this time I have seen consistent drug trafficking nonresidents surfing elevators nonresidents using emergency fire exit stairwells to get to different floors a meth lab and bicycle chop shop in 1 apartment bed bug and cockroache infestations the smells of meth pet andhuman urine in the carpets damage done to west side roofs including the owner of Jimmy Z039s Redroom roof of the restaurant he039s working to open next door covered in furniture canned goods paperwork cabinet doors drawer facings shoes clothing and a plethora of other items by 2 previous tenants who were throwing these items out of their windows not to mention drug users smoking right outside the front and back doors homeless found sleeping on the mezzanine in the lobby and in fire emergency stairwells and a host of other issues Black Realty Management has taken advantage of vulnerable adults in affordable housing properties and residents who are trapped and unable to have a safe and habitable home required by the RCWs of Washington state Many residents given the chance to change their lives fall back into the world of their substance addictions Mr and Mrs Paul Mann have been such a Godsend for many and improvements are currently in the works to provide resources within the Ridpath Club Apartments to assist residents who are in desperate need of help Many residents rarely come out of their apartments due to the drug trafficking that is affecting their mental and physical health I have attempted to assist onsite Staff after hours to ratify several issues but to no avail Many residents enjoy the delivery of frozen meals delivered by the Women039s and Children039s Restaurant a blessed Christmas dinner in 2022 food provided by Christ039s Kitchen and several residents who gather on the mezzanine to play games children and dogs playing and beautiful Christmas decorations and tree which I find much joy in I believe that Black Realty Management is currently working with onsite staff to provide exiting things to come to offer hope and enjoyment for all residents suffering from a host of issues In the meantime I have stepped back from volunteering staff so I can continue my own recovery of PTSD and attempting to grieve the deaths of my last 2 family members lost in 2021 and 2022 Paul and Janet Mann are very involved in the Transitions program to which I am an Alum They give so much of their own resources to make a difference in affordable housing for all who need and meet requirements to gain their own home and some sense of peace in their lives God039s blessings to all more ... hide ...
