At move-in, there were smoke-stained window coverings, a slow-draining tub, a leaking toilet, cobwebs and loads of dead bugs on the closet shelves, dog feces in the entryway corner, torn baseboards, and a door that only barely closed. After two months, most of these issues have still not been resolved. In the coming month, a baby is due, so we have been trying to be patient and ask for management assistance. However, after repeatedly calling, and having them come to our apartment uninvited three times, we have finally received a date for when the rest of the problems should get addressed, though we doubt it will happen. Additionally, the on-site laundry was recently replaced with "new" machines, which definitely are not new; the washing drum is half the size of the "old" ones, making the cost the same, but requiring twice as many loads. In conclusion, while the rent is good, the treatment by management in our first two months has been extremely unsatisfactory. more ... hide ...
