I politely asked the pertinent questions and was told my application would be "right away denied" if I didn't attach supporting documents. That was a strange way of phrasing it and really off-putting. I was then asked why I couldn't just come in and get the application, and I responded that I was moving and lived far away. She then asked, "Do you have a job here or something?" and I said yes, gave my email so they could send me more info... but I never got an email. It makes sense, though, because the woman 1. appeared to HATE her job and 2. she said she only checks the email once a week... possibly not even bothering to answer potential tenants. In short, the person I spoke to was greatly disturbed by the fact that I was calling and every positive aspect of this property vanished. I was treated like a nuisance and her attitude in each response made me want to hang up. This place is truly beautiful but, based on my experience and reviews, it sounds like the management detests their lives and jobs and just pass it on to the tenants and anyone wanting to live here. There are so many other stunning properties in Milwaukee to explore before even thinking about this one. more ... hide ...
