The cons: - The price of drinks was attempted to be changed less than a week before the event. When we compared our two contracts, the owner had written on hers "prices subject to change" which was not included in ours. - The owners can be very impolite and hard to deal with. During the set-up, she kept grumbling about things we had moved. When I called with queries, I was informed "you're only concerned about your wedding. We have 20 other weddings before yours to think about so we'll consider yours when it is the next event on the list". - The owner only switched on a few lights when we saw the place and while setting up. The rest were not switched on until almost an hour before the ceremony and many sections of lights were not working. - There are several holes in the roof so the whole place smells like damp, mouldy carpet. - The paint on the floor is badly chipped and peeling and the carpets are all old and shabby-looking.more ...hide ...
