Per the contract he turned in My son lived in these apartments for 1 year. He is a hard working young man just starting out in life and always paid his rent early. He never hung anything on the walls while living there. Per the contract he turned in a 60 day notice in writing of his decision to not continue with the lease and move. After moving out he was advised by the manager that he left the apartment \"move in ready\". The same manager advised me of the same on two different occasions. When stopping after approximately 2 1/2 months after he moved to inquire about why he had not received his deposit was advised by the same person that the owner was returning $3.67 of the $410.00 deposit due to a charge of $100.00 for carpet cleaning and $300.00 for paint. I was also informed by this manager that she had worked there for several years and had never known anyone to receive their deposit back. When I asked to have the phone number of the owner she said she was not permitted to give it out. The owner of this apartment complex is a scam artist. Shame on her for taking advantage of a nice hard working young man.more ...hide ...
