I got attacked by the manager, Star. I was looking for the tenant I was there to visit, sometimes shes in the public visiting room (or so I thought!!) Star attacked me yelling that I wasnt supposed to be in there if I di dnt live there. There are NO signs stating that, & she could of approached me in a appropriate manner for a manager of a disabled Apartment complex. I am disabled myself, & she sent my anxiety through the roof. I was shaking, bawling & couldnt believe how disrespectful I was treated. Like I was some scum off the streets & deserved no better. Someone needs to SERIOUSLY address & check this womans behavior. That is inappropriate, rude & not of a comforting place as it should be. I was almost thinking of getting an apartment there, NO WAY WOULD I EVER NOW!! I wouldnt go there if my life depended on it! She ruined my entire day, for what? Cause shes miserable inside herself & instead of turning that into a positive thing, she chooses to attack & treat others with complete disrespect. Making people feel less than what they are. Watch out for this one, she needs to be in a darn prison, not a disabled community. Someone please do something. I feel sorry for the people living there & their family & friends who visit. Nonsense... Unneeded drama from a nobody special wanna be dictator. Thats about the jist of it.. ¡ more ... hide ...

A little difficulty upon getting into the apartment--make sure you specify SEVERAL times that you need furniture if you are choosing a furnished unit. Property manager rectified the previous situation quickly and thorou ghly, however. Very impressed with their professionalism and ability to right an adverse circumstance and empathize with their tenants. Maintenance has always been extremely polite and prompt to deliver service. Facility website provides an easy convenient way to pay rent, view and sign documents, and puruse your lease through their resident portal online. Large spacious rooms with a beautiful dog park across the way, a colorful, fenced-in playground for the little ones, and a beautiful community center. Would DEFINITELY recommend looking into these units upon availability if youre a Hawkeye graduate student, faculty, or staff. more ... hide ...
