Oakwood apts need a manager or management team thats not afraid to enforce the rules at the apt complex.There are a number of issues thats being ignored such as the parking.There is assigned parking in one section of the apts but people are not cooperating.There is a car thats been sitting in one of the visitor spaces for over two months that is disabled.:Who is actually in charge,the residents or management!!!.People are outside all times of the night,especially at building 707.This is something that they know about already!!!.There is no maintenance person there at the moment.After hours emergency maintenance is very rude and will hang up the phone on you if you call them more than once.The company basically dont want to pay for major maintenance issues.Those apts are old and need attention. more ... hide ...

My Sister-in-Law lives there and because the Property Manager, Ashley Riddle Vaughn, has personal issues with her she refused to address an emergency request for no a/c when the temps have reached the highest of 92 outsi de. My Sister-in-law also has 5 children and 4 of them are under age 5. For no reason at all should she have been without a/c for a total of 3 days. When I called to ask what is going on Ashley was very rude and refused to tell me anything. Being that I work in Property Management, I know that residents can give you the ok to speak to a family or friend and when I said that to her she still refused to speak to me or be willing to speak to me. I dont care what kind of personal issues you have with someone you should never refuse them heat or a/c. I reported her to HUD as well as their corporate office and I will continue to do so everyday until she realizes she discriminated against them and treated them unfairly. more ... hide ...
