I love this community because of its wonderful location (overlooking Lake Michigan), its wonderful management, its wonderful access to an excellent transportation system (bus, street car, train, airport), and because of the quality of the tenants that live here. My reason why I give Luther Haven such a low star is do towards poor policy information. Nobody ever signs-in when coming to visit their love ones as well the most main issue i have is I thought theyre were \"NO KIDS AL LOWED\" left unattended with the elders? Ive been notincing as well hearing kids/babies being left with the elders throughout the day/night. There isnt any rules posted up about that and if it is nobody isnt looking into more and doing their daily check-in routines. Ive wittiness people sneaking in from the back door at night as well living in with the occupants. Someone who is in charge there really needs to hire some kind of Security officer at the front main door also the back door parking lot. Yet again there arent any cameras nowhere in the hallways? \"CODE RED\"!!!!!!! If you go onto Luther haven website its no indication or understanding about their \"POLICY\",\"SAFTY\",\"SECURITY\",\"VISITORS RULES\" other than that this place can be awesome living for your love ones in a better safer place! more ... hide ...

When we moved in the apartment wasnt ready. We werent told ahead of time and due to it being winter, me being pregnant and us having a two year old, we didnt have a choice but to make due. We moved in and let maintenance men come in over the next two weeks to make adjustments. There were problems throughout the lease. The property manager was never available.Towards the end our of lease, repairs were made and the apartments were bought out by a larger company. This mustve resulted in lost files because almost three years later we received a collection noticed for a past due balance. I am now working with the collection agency to submit proof to make sure their sloppy mismanagement of paperwork doesnt result as a negative impact on my and my husbands credit report.They nor their management company answered when I called or returned my voicemails. Very irritated to have to waste time, money and efforts on resolving something that should not be an issue. Would not recommend to anyone.Edit: This issue was resolved. Jodi was great at following up and making sure the collection company closed the account that was opening in error. Ive updated my rating. The problems I had were with the previous owners and property manager. more ... hide ...
