My fiance and I had an apartment held for us while we took the drug test (hair root) that they require. We found out today, after the hold agreement technically expired due to this process taking so long, that we were de nied the apartment do to my fiances use of state and federally legal cbd. She has been okd by both her primary care doctor and neurologist to take CBD as she gets extremely debilitating migraines and CBD reduces the symptoms. The testing facility even called and said that this would be ok given that its such a minute amount of THC and is not at psychoactive levels. This is discrimination. Cant even get a hold of anyone on the phone as it goes to a machine no matter when I call. Denying us the apartment is fine but based on this reason and the fact that we are not breaking any laws, as well as being okd on the usage of legal CBD by medical professionals, is not OK and I will be looking to follow this up with a lawyer. more ... hide ...
