I am a present tenant. This is a HUD senior housing facility. When we agreed to take the apartment, we were never told that the apartment was 50 yards from the elevator. they knew my husband was handicapped and uses a sc ooter to get around. the elevator is a 5x5 and very difficult to maneuver. Our biggest gripe is that there is not enough parking for the whole building. There are 98 apts and they have about 30 assigned spaces. How can they have assigned parking when there arent enough to go around? They know he is handicapped and expects him to park in the street with his scooter lift emptying into the street which is against the law. If you have a 1st floor apt with a parking space it is a nice place. The town is beautiful and the tenants have been friendly. more ... hide ...
