However, there are a few points to remember before moving in. The windows, although attractive, can let in insects (it's not uncommon to find a palmetto bug or a few spiders at night). I purchased some insect repellent and sprayed around the windows and baseboards, and the issue was resolved. One more thing to keep in mind is that Spartanburg is known as the Hub City because it was the busiest train corridor between the north and the south, so you may need a white noise machine to block out the sound of the trains. Additionally, the hospital and fire department are both close by, which is reassuring in case of an emergency, but it also means extra noise. In spite of all that, I would be eager to move back into my little one-bedroom loft. I appreciated the maintenance staff being readily available to help me whenever I needed, even to brush off my car after it snowed. I also appreciated my landlords' attentiveness, and the gated parking lot made me feel secure. Not to mention all the fixtures and my general stay were splendid. more ... hide ...
