The manager was with another client so I decided to take out my laptop and make a few calls while waiting; I am certain that she profiled me due to the fact that I am African American wearing a hoodie. She immediately asked who I was and if I resided there, instead of politely introducing herself or offering help. After trying to explain how her behavior made me feel uncomfortable, she refused to let me talk and kept interrupting me, even saying she didn't have to listen. This kind of conduct is unacceptable regardless of whether the person is a resident or not; they should be allowed to sit in the lobby without being harassed just because they found something do while waiting for assistance. more ... hide ...
