I'd never experienced apartment living before and it was like being surrounded by a group of teenagers. Constantly bickering, gossiping, and ostracizing each other. Now, I'm finding it difficult to get a handicap parking spot since there are almost always three non-handicap vehicles parked in the most accessible areas. One of them even keeps her company van there. After Christmas, I arrived to unload my car, only to find all the handicap spots taken. None of the cars had anything on their mirrors or license plates. I'm aware of other parking spots besides the handicap ones, so why can't they park there? They seem to think they can keep the same spot reserved. Due to my three back surgeries, knee replacement, and shoulder replacement, carrying heavy items inside is a challenge. We don't have assigned parking. Speaking to the manager is also not easy and she tends to cut off the conversation and say it's none of my business. I rarely see her and when I do, she stays in her office the entire time.
