THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE!!!!!! To say that I am not a fan of this place would be a great understatement. They treat their employees like crap. My boyfriend has been working there for 2 years and did not received the yearly raise he deserved when his coworkers did. Not only that but they really suck at the whole hiring process (but I guess that only make sense). Almost a year into your relationship they told him that at at the start of a particular month that he was going to start getting weekends off and then come a following month he would get a raise.... neither of those things happened. Not only have those things that he was promised not happened but the scheduling has gotten worse. They are continually texting and calling him to cover shifts, claiming that they have no one else to cover and in the last 2 weeks he has had to go in and work on what was supposed to be his day off. Not to mention telling him that he has to stay til 6 when he is supposed to be off at 2. These people need to figure out their crap and learn not only how to hire people who are competent and can do their jobs, but also how to treat their employees better before they lose them all. The way they they are treating my boyfriend is causing him to not only be extremely exhausted all the time, but also be depressed and not even want to work (which I cant blame him for when I know how they treat him). I am strongly encouraging him to actively look for something different. And as soon as he finds something he will be out of there so quick they will not know what to do with themselves. We both work 40hrs a week and on top of that I am a full time Masters student, so our time off together is limited and them continually asking him to cover extra shifts is just not okay. If I could give less than a whole star I would.

I have lived at the Terrace for about five months. There are many activities you can participate in to meet new people. The dining room is a very nice place to meet your friends and the food is very tasty, as well as the coffee shop. The administration is friendly and helpful if you have questions. Covid has put a damper on some activities but is slowly getting back to their normal.
