I've been living here for less than two months and it has been a positive experience so far. I chose to move here due to being made to feel welcome by Kathy and Ruth in the office before I signed my lease. I had some minor maintenance issues soon after I moved in, but they were sorted out quickly. The maintenance man has been very professional and friendly. I've only encountered a few of my neighbors, but they appear pleasant. It's quite tranquil during the night, not a great deal of movement. Of course, there are kids running around the complex, but it's to be expected in any community and they're not a nuisance. I'm thrilled to have a washer/dryer in my unit, no need to share a laundry room with other occupants. Having two bathrooms is a bonus. Although I live alone, it's good to have a 'personal' bathroom for my beauty products and a 'guest' bathroom that's always neat for visitors. I'm also delighted that the balconies/patios have solid doors and not sliding glass ones, as you lose a lot of heat with glass doors in the winter and my apartment is well insulated. The size of the apartment is great, so I have plenty of space for my furniture. I'm still getting comfortable with referring to this place as 'home', however I'm hoping it will be my home for the upcoming years. more ... hide ...

On the day of our move in, a new manager had been unexpectedly hired (which in retrospect should've been a warning si If I had the option to give a lower score, I would! On the day of our move in, a new manager had been unexpectedly hired (which in retrospect should've been a warning sign). The assistant manager had previously stated that we would only have to pay the first month's rent and security deposit (as stated in the lease agreement). However, the property manager attempted to have us pay for two months rent and the security deposit (a total of almost three grand). Additionally, they do not possess any maintenance personnel who are able to fix anything. Twice, our property sustained water damage due to the fact that they do not place splash blocks outside of the building. Furthermore, the children living there are unmanageable. They are constantly running into the driveway, where you are only allowed to drive at three mph. Not to mention, the noise is unbearable. Over the span of seven months, I provided video evidence of our quiet enjoyment being infringed upon. The property manager issued a lease violation, but that did not seem to have any effect. As a result, I had to contact the housing authority to resolve the issue. I will not be renewing my lease at this establishment, as there is no lease breaking clause.
