Then, it quickly became worse; we assumed it was due to Covid-19, since they stopped cleaning the common areas and removed all furniture. The management changed, and the building my mother was in was not secure. According to a Fairfax County police officer, I should get my mother out if I had other options since there were young relatives of tenants living there, as well as what seemed to be homeless individuals sleeping in the common areas when the furniture was brought back. We are still looking to retrieve the security deposit, as JRK is not abiding by the agreement that said they would refund the deposit forty-five days after moving out, and it has already been ninety days since then. We can't hold management responsible for anything since they keep being replaced. During the 19 months my mother lived there, this happened three times, and now it's happening again while I'm trying to get the security deposit back. more ... hide ...

On my visit, I noticed the area was secure, with residents walking their pets or simply enjoying the outdoors. The buildings are three stories high and have neat, roomy apartments. Elevators and sizable lounge areas are present, and each floor has a laundry room with four washers and dryers. You wouldn't find this in a regular apartment. Moreover, the facilities are very nice, offering lounging spots and libraries across different floors. It is a wonderful place for seniors as well as our beloved ones. more ... hide ...
